My Islaam

This web site is about my journey, my search for truth through Al Islaam.  Not the truth as is commonly understood but the truth from Al Qur'aan which I believe to be Allaah’s message applicable for all of mankind.  To acquire a more comprehensive understanding of my chosen way of life - as a Muslim - I feel it necessary for me to delve deeper into the richness of the messages that are contained within Al Qur’aan, The Decree that has changed my life.

The opinions expressed here are entirely my own.  Some will be accepted by the visitors here and some will not, however my objective is not to have others agree with me.  My objective is for others to think for themselves and to seek knowledge.  To question, evaluate, then reevaluate unceasingly.  Not to be content with what has been commonly accepted and practiced; no matter for how long or by how many.

I wish it would be possible not to offend anyone from what is read here however I do not doubt for a moment that I probably will.  If something is read here which lights a spark and causes at least one person to step outside of their comfort zone and in the process learns something new about Al Islaam, then I will have succeeded in my attempts here.

From within this web site you will probably begin to form a mental picture of me.  You will probably form some opinion with regards to who I am now as compared to who I was in the past.  What you read here will allow you see my inner self - my thoughts and feelings - and I hope the picture that emerges will be positive and inspiring.
